Hillel Tobias M.D., PH.D.
Dr. Hillel Tobias is a Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine. He is also the Medical Director of the NYU Liver Transplant Service and the founding partner of the Concorde Medical Group. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and a nationally recognized expert in diseases of the liver. He has authored over fifty papers on various studies of the liver and participates extensively in clinical research trials of new drugs for the treatment of hepatitis and other liver diseases. He has been consistently listed year after year in the annual New York Magazine list of Best Doctors in New York.
Dr. Tobias is an honor graduate of Columbia College, received his M.D. from Washington University (St. Louis) and earned his Ph.D. from the University of London. He served his internship and medical residency at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital.
